give you an insight into events, parties, social activities on the Backbeat
Horizon
Let’s start with the Xmas Party 2007 -
Bigger than Ben Hur!
Indeed! It was bigger than
Ben Hur. There were two routine performances – Sweet Escape and the Spanish
Guitar routine.
Mike and Diane received the prestigious Flash Dance and Stay’
in alive Awards for 2007, well-done guys.
Kathy won the
Lucky Door Prize kindly donated by Doreen’s– awesome prize Kathy, thanks
Doreen.
Glenys won some movie
tickets, and Colleen won some chocolates.
Marty & Kimmy
won the Blind Fold dance competition. Well
done to everyone!
A big thank you to
Santa and his Little Helper for making a special appearance, just quietly we
think Santa loves to dance.

-Come join us in the park for a
social gathering, a bit of fun, a bit of food and good company.
What: A social BBQ at Mooloolaba Spit
Where: opposite the Yacht Club, Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba.
When: 1 – 4pm

March – New Routine
That’s right! Ray & Kimmy have been conjuring up some
fantastic moves to a whole new song.
This is a sexy routine with awesome intermediate moves. The routine will be taught on the
April – 1st
Bring on the party! Backbeat will be celebrating their 1st
birthday on the coast.
Dress in your best beach
outfits. The Music will be fantastic, as
we dance the night away with dancing, activities, prizes and routines.
May – Boot Camp
Boot camp is a one day
intensive workshop session, catering for Beginners and Intermediate dancers.
Both Beginner and Intermediate classes will run for 4 hours with breaks. More
information released closer to the date.
June – Social Activity.
